Epicureans rejoice: A new American Express Gold Rewards Card is launching in New Zealand. Boasting an array of dining rewards, this new product will benefit Card Members while supporting the local hospitality sector.
This all-new, all-metal Card is available in a choice of classic gold or rose gold.
Let’s take a look at what’s on offer:
Dine out on the house
One of the only dining-focused credit cards in the market, the American Express Gold Rewards Card offers up to $200 in dining credits each year to be used at any of American Express’ Local Dining Collection partner restaurants.
The benefit works like this: Spend $100 or more, in one transaction on your American Express Gold Rewards Card at a participating Dining Collection restaurant and receive a $100 credit. The offer is valid up to 2 times a year, once per defined calendar period. That’s up to $200 back each year.
At the time of writing, there are 57 participating restaurants in the North Island, including 50 in Auckland. The South Island boasts 17 participating restaurants, including 11 in Otago.
The selection includes top-rated restaurants across Aotearoa such as Ben Bayly’s acclaimed eatery Ahi, the seasonal and soulful Alma, Hopgoods & Co. as well as Aosta in Arrowtown. Browse the full list of participating restaurants here.
